Old friends Wynne Evans and Joanna Page embark on an unforgettable adventure along the south Wales coastline, travelling by boat from Cardiff to St David's. Their mission? To rediscover the art of relaxation, reconnect with Wales, explore the breathtaking coastal scenery, learn the basics of sailing - and most importantly, have fun! Joining them on their journey are their skipper, Wayne, and Wynne's faithful dog, Ginny. In this first leg of their six-part journey, they set sail from Cardiff Bay and tackle their first challenge: navigating the Cardiff barrage. From there, they head to Penarth, where they join the local rowing club and take a spin under Penarth pier in a rowing boat aptly named Wynne Evans. Next, they make their way to Barry Island, a place close to Joanna's heart as the iconic setting of Gavin and Stacey. Here they reunite with Marco of Marco's Café, enjoy the arcade, and Jo convinces Wynne to confront his fears with a thrilling ride on the island's legendary log flume.
